For most yachts, the data declarations for 2018 will be the same as those required in 2017, and if you have a 2017 certificate, that data will auto-load for your 2018 application. For catboats some additional inputs will be required.

Yachts that did not apply for a 2017 CRF MkII certificate can refer back to an earlier CRF certificate for most of the information required for CRF MkII.  However, the following information that was not previously captured in CRF ratings calculations is required for CRF MkII:

1. Maximum draft with centerboard extended (CRF’16 does not account for ‘board down’ draft)

2. Distance from the mast to the tack point of an asymmetrical spinnaker

3. A ‘closest match to sample sketches’ declaration for keel and rudder configuration (sample sketches can be found on the application)
